An opportunity is arising for an experienced multi-disciplined Employee Benefit Consultant to join our dynamic Employee Benefits team which is part of the award-winning Financial Planning Group. Over the last six years, Acumen Employee Benefits have become established as one of the leading Corporate Advisory providers. Our agile and innovative approach underpinned with sound consultancy skills and reliable support has progressively grown our client base which ranges from SMEs to multi-national entities.

The role will require continual management and growth of an existing client portfolio, coupled with new business creation to progressively develop the core business proposition. Due to the diverse nature of industries, we deliver a multitude of benefits outside of the industry standard risk, pensions and health options as we look to tailor the benefits solution to meet the clients' specific needs.

This flexible approach to consultancy means that this exciting consultancy opportunity requires a candidate that is able as a team player to:

  • Maintain and develop a book of clients.
  • Prepare and draft reports, tender bids as required.
  • Advise, tailor and implement flexi benefit platforms.
  • Accurately maintain back-office systems and records.
  • Have experience and understanding of DC Group Pensions and Auto Enrolment Legislation.
  • Have competency in advising and implementing Workplace Pensions, Group Risk, and Health related benefits.
  • Ensure fees and invoicing is submitted and recorded in a timely manner.

Essential

  • Be professionally qualified to a minimum of relevant level 4 qualification.
  • Prior experience of delivering employee benefit consultancy.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Proven to have identified and secured new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge and experience of the core Group Pension, Risk, Health markets and products.
  • Enjoy working with and supporting your colleagues in both the office and hybrid environment.
  • Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with colleagues in other teams to ensure an effective and positive working environment.
  • Manage personal workload effectively to ensure appropriate service to both internal and external stakeholders.
