Acumen Cyber is seeking a skilled SOC Engineer to enhance our team and help defend both our internal infrastructure and our clients against ever-evolving threats. \\n Acumen Cyber is an engineering-led Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP)\\n headquartered in Glasgow. Our CREST-accredited 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) is \\n at the heart of our operations, delivering advanced cybersecurity solutions to our clients.
We put our engineers at the forefront of developing our services to ensure we are always at the cutting edge. \\n\\n Investigate and resolve security incidents using critical thinking and forensic techniques \\n• Perform log analysis and correlate events across multiple platforms \\n• Communicate findings clearly and professionally - both verbally and in writing \\n• Stay current with cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and best practices \\n• Apply analytical skills to real-world cybersecurity threats in a fast-paced environment \\n• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, common threats, and attacker tactics \\n• Ability to interpret log data and recognise suspicious behaviour \\n• Willingness to work shifts as part of a 24/7 operation \\n• Cyber Security Degree or Information Security Degree (preferred)
