About The Team

This role will sit within the Marketing & Business Development team and support the firm’s wider growth strategy through CRM management, client insight and market intelligence. The role will report into the COO, with a dotted line reporting relationship into the Business Development & Sales Manager to support the ongoing development, optimisation and integration of the firm’s CRM and data infrastructure.

About The Role

We are seeking a commercially minded and analytically driven CRM & Client Intelligence Executive to support the development of the firm’s client relationship management and market insight capability. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in CRM systems, reporting and marketing analytics within a professional services environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting client development activity, improving data quality and adoption across the business, and providing market and client insight to support strategic decision-making. The role will work closely with the wider Marketing & BD team, Partners and senior stakeholders across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management (CRM)
    • Support the day-to-day management and ongoing development of the firm’s CRM platform (Peppermint).
    • Act as an internal point of contact for CRM queries, reporting requests and user support.
    • Maintain high standards of data quality and integrity across the CRM platform, including data cleansing, deduplication and ongoing maintenance.
    • Support CRM adoption across the business by assisting with user training, guidance and best practice.
    • Produce regular and ad-hoc CRM reports and dashboards to support marketing, business development and client relationship activity.
    • Support targeted marketing campaigns, client communications and re-engagement activity through CRM segmentation and reporting.
    • Assist with the management of CRM workflows, integrations and reporting tools.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, IT, Finance and Operations to ensure the CRM platform supports wider business objectives.
    • Help identify opportunities for improved client engagement, cross-selling and client retention through CRM analysis.
    • Support compliance with data protection, confidentiality and regulatory obligations relevant to a law firm environment.
  • Client Intelligence
    • Conduct research into market trends, competitor activity, sector developments and wider economic factors impacting the firm and its clients.
    • Prepare client, sector and competitor research to support tenders, pitches, events and business development initiatives.
    • Produce regular insight reports and briefing notes for internal stakeholders.
    • Assist with analysing marketing and campaign performance data to support evidence-based decision-making.
    • Support strategic growth initiatives through market and client analysis.
    • Maintain and optimise the firm’s use of market intelligence tools, databases and subscriptions.
    • Support client feedback initiatives, surveys and ad-hoc market research projects.
    • Assist with maintaining sector and client intelligence across the business.

About You

Approximately 3–5 years’ experience within a marketing, CRM, business development or market intelligence role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment. Experience using CRM platforms and reporting tools, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to interpret data and present insight clearly. Commercially aware with an interest in client development and business growth. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI reporting. Experience working within a regulated or professional services environment would be advantageous. Marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification desirable but not essential.
