We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Senior Associate to join our law firm. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of clients, including multinational corporations, private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals. You will provide strategic legal counsel and execute innovative solutions that align with our clients’ business objectives.
You will play a pivotal role in advising on various corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. You will be expected to lead transactional processes, manage client relationships, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the corporate practice.
- Business development: Engage in business development initiatives, including pitching to potential clients, participating in industry events, marketing activities and contributing to thought leadership pieces.
- Client-centric approach: Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on corporate transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and documenting M&A deals, joint ventures, and partnerships.
- Transactional expertise: Lead and manage complex transactions from inception to completion, ensuring all legal issues are identified, addressed, and resolved. Conduct thorough due diligence, and prepare and review transactional documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and related contracts.
- Team leadership: Mentor and develop junior associates and trainees within the team, fostering a collaborative and high performance team environment. Collaborate with colleagues across various departments to deliver seamless legal services and achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
- Regulatory compliance: Stay updated on legal developments, market trends and regulatory changes to enhance client services and innovate solutions. Advise clients on compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, including the Companies Act, Competition Act, and other sector-specific regulations.
About you: Experienced qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 6+ years PQE within a reputable Corporate/M&A department, preferably within a leading UK or International law firm.
