Acuity Knowledge Partners is looking for an experienced candidate, based in London, who can sell outsourcing and offshoring services to Corporate and Investment Banks as well as Commercial Banks in the EMEA region. You must possess a strong hunting and sales acumen with a good track record of originating, qualifying and closing deals. Prior experience having worked in a Front Office role in M&A or LevFin for an Investment Bank is highly desirable.
It is important you have excellent English skills and are comfortable operating in a multi-cultural and diverse environment, European languages as a bonus. The role is initially based in London, with extensive travelling to build client relationships.
To be successful in this role you should have good knowledge of the financial services landscape, be an Originator and develop strong client relationships. Excellent verbal and written presentation skills and strong negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to build and establish long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Acuity's proposition to Commercial, Corporate & Investment Banks is driving front and middle office transformation through offshoring (people) and automation (technology). Both the value proposition and the model are widely proven across Corporate and investment banks globally and Acuity is considered a global leader in the field. This is a quota carrying sales role which involves full sales cycle from originating, pitching the concept, creating pipeline, deal closure and ongoing account management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
- Run high quality Enterprise sales cycles focusing on banks, brokers and advisory firms in the EMEA region.
- Identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients.
- Leveraging existing client relationships and networks to generate commercial interest.
- Qualification and generating demand from clients and prospects.
- Creating compelling value propositions mapped to client business needs, negotiating and closing complex agreements.
- Assigned quota to be attained through opening new doors in existing book and focus on new logo hunting and cross-selling of offshoring services such as:
- Primary focus: Investment Banking (M&A, Capital markets and sector/products, LevLending).
- Other areas: Credit underwriting & enablement (end-to-end lending process in commercial and corporate banking), Compliance (KYC, AML, surveillance, financial crime etc.), Sell-side research (equity and credit analysis, trade desk support, operations).
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Minimum Bachelors' degree (or equivalent) from a leading university.
- Experience of working in the front office in M&A and/or LevFin within a Corporate & Investment Bank.
- Ability to source, identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach and ability to engage with senior business users, COO's, CIO's, Chief Credit Officers, CRO's, CCO's and Procurement Managers.
- Ability to influence key decision makers during the full life cycle of the sales process.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience.
- Experience in leading sales efforts, proposal development and closing deals.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
- Ability to multitask and meet short deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.
