The predicted salary is between 29 - 33 € per hour.

Pay rate: £14.18‑£16.28 per hour (weekly or monthly pay available).

Shift pattern: 08:00‑20:00, 20:00‑08:00 or 24‑hour (2 shifts per week).

Requirement: Full UK driving licence (necessary for the role).

We have a rewarding opportunity for the right person to support an individual living in their own home in St. Austell. The client has a strong interest in animals, fashion, children’s magazines and is very “pink‑and‑girlie.” She has autism, anorexia and mental‑health struggles, with a history of challenges and associated risks. The support worker will help make trips out and about enjoyable and safe.

Qualifications

  • Experience with autism, mental health, anorexia and behaviours that can be perceived as challenging.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly and build trusting relationships.
  • Empathy and a commitment to enhancing activities that bring meaningful engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality support on a 2:1 basis.
  • Create opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community.
  • Encourage social interaction and promote emotional well‑being.
  • Support communication in a way that works best for the client.
  • Assist with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment.
