We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to support an individual with complex care needs and learning disabilities in her family home. The client is a friendly 33 year old woman who enjoys arts and crafts, pampering, shopping, and spending time with her pets. She has Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) and associated neurological complications, requiring consistent, person-centred care. Her needs include tracheostomy care and suctioning, PEG feeding for all nutrition and medication, management of steroid-dependent adrenal insufficiency, and monitoring of low blood pressure. She is a wheelchair user and uses a standing frame daily to support her wellbeing.
Qualifications
- A compassionate, patient, and reliable individual
- A full UK driving licence
- Someone confident working in a complex care environment (or willing to be trained)
