As a Support Worker, you'll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:

  • Providing high-quality support on a 2:1 basis or 1:1 basis
  • Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
  • Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
  • Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment

This person loves getting out and making the most of life. Whether it's a day trip, a walk around town, a bit of shopping, or a visit to the park, staying active and engaged is a big part of their routine. From time to time, they also enjoy heading out for a meal and even the occasional pint. They live independently in their own home and have access to a car, so being able to drive and holding a full UK driving licence is essential. You'll be supporting them to attend important activities such as music therapy and hydrotherapy, so you'll need to be confident in water.
