Based in London (hybrid, West End) this role offers a salary of £70,000–£80,000. As a Microsoft Copilot & Power Platform Engineer the position will provide you the chance to design and deploy AI-powered automations across a global investment management business.

As the business accelerates its adoption of AI‐enabled productivity and automation, they're needing an AI & Automation Engineer to lead the practical implementation of Copilot, Power Platform and Azure AI across the organisation. Whereas most AI roles promise innovation, this one expects you to operationalise it at scale.
THE ROLE
Microsoft Copilot & M365 Engineering
- Configure and extend Microsoft Copilot across Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word
- Build and deploy copilots using Copilot Studio
- Connect Copilot to enterprise data sources securely
Power Platform & Automation
- Design and build advanced Power Automate workflows
- Develop custom connectors and API integrations
- Create scalable automation frameworks across business teams
- Implement solutions using Azure OpenAI
- Engineer prompt workflows and optimise LLM outputs
- Build reusable AI components and accelerators
Adoption & Enablement
- Run workshops and training sessions
- Act as the internal AI consultant for automation initiatives
- Measure adoption and iterate on productivity improvements
This is not just "build and forget" engineering – you'll see your AI solutions actively used across the organisation.
REQUIRED SKILLS
You're likely currently working as a Power Platform Developer, or Microsoft 365 Solutions Engineer, or Copilot Engineer, or Automation Engineer, or Azure AI Engineer, or Intelligent Automation Specialist.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Copilot & Copilot Studio
- Advanced Power Automate / Power Platform capability
- Hands‐on experience with Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Search
- Experience integrating APIs and enterprise systems
- C# or .NET development experience (preferred)
- Experience delivering training or engaging business stakeholders
