Based in central London, this AI Automation Engineer role offers a salary of £70,000 – £80,000.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys automating complex business processes, integrating enterprise systems, and embedding AI into day-to-day workflows. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify manual processes that can be automated and replaced with AI-enabled tools, Copilot agents, and intelligent workflows. This is a hands-on role where you will design, build, and deploy solutions that significantly improve productivity, reduce manual work, and create scalable internal tools.

They provide asset management, wealth platform technology and portfolio services across the investment management sector, including investment solutions, trading capabilities and digital platforms to support wealth managers and investors globally. The business is rapidly accelerating its adoption of AI-enabled productivity and automation and now looking for an AI Automation Engineer (Microsoft Power Platform & Copilot) to lead the practical implementation of Copilot, Power Platform and Azure AI across the organisation.
THE ROLE:
- Designing and building automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI).
- Implementing AI-powered workflow automation, including Microsoft Copilot agents and AI assistants.
- Integrating AI capabilities into internal tools using Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, and AI APIs.
- Developing intelligent workflows that connect enterprise platforms and internal databases.
- Building data pipelines and automated reporting solutions to support operational and strategic decision making.
- Working with business teams to identify manual processes that can be automated using AI and workflow tools.
- Designing scalable low-code / pro-code solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Supporting the adoption of AI tools and automation across the organisation.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong experience building solutions with: Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), Power BI and reporting automation, workflow automation and process optimisation, integrating APIs and enterprise systems.
- Experience with some of the following would be beneficial: AI APIs such as OpenAI / ChatGPT / Claude, workflow automation platforms, SQL / Python / C#, or other scripting languages.
