Bank Female Support Worker (Complex Care)
Location:
Pay Rate: £12.98 - £13.50 per hour
Shift Patterns: 4 x 7 Hour shifts a week - 08.30am till 16.00pm, 15.30pm till 22.00pm, 21.00pm till 09.00am
We are currently recruiting a dedicated Female Support Worker to join a close-knit team providing specialist 1:1 support in the Carlisle area. The individual you will be supporting has complex clinical needs, including ventilation and PEG feeding. However, beyond her medical requirements, she is a warm, vibrant person who enjoys cooking and baking and has a strong love for her pet dogs and birds. You will play a vital role in supporting her to live a fulfilled and independent life, enabling her to take part in activities she enjoys and supporting her wellbeing both at home and in the community.
- 1:1 Support: Delivering high-quality, compassionate care tailored to her individual needs, including complex care such as gastrostomy management and non-invasive ventilation.
- Supporting her to enjoy her hobbies, including cooking, baking, and spending time with her pets, as well as accompanying her out in the community.
Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:
- Experience supporting individuals with complex clinical needs, including gastrostomy care and ventilation support, is essential.
- A strong commitment to delivering person-centred care.
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential; dedication, empathy, and the right attitude are what matter most.
