The predicted salary is between 29100 - 36400 £ per year.

Pay rate: £14.00 per hour (Weekly or Monthly pay available)

Shift pattern: 15.5 hours Bi-weekly - Day or Night shift - This package of care has a few different shift patterns so could be a shift between either of the following hours:

  • 07:30am - 16:00pm
  • 8:00am - 16:00pm
  • 10:00am - 20:00pm
  • 18:30pm - 8:00am
  • 18:30pm - 10:00am
  • 20:00pm - 8:00am

A dedicated and compassionate Support Worker is required to provide person-centred support for an individual with Autism and Learning Disabilities living in Tamworth. This role involves supporting daily life management while promoting independence, structure, and positive routines.

Please note you must have a full UK drivers license with access to your own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting daily life management and organisational skills
  • Accompanying to activities, gym sessions, cinema trips, and outdoor visits (including National Trust properties)
  • Supporting attendance at social outings such as meals out, while encouraging balanced lifestyle choices
  • Assisting with budgeting skills and promoting financial awareness to support living within agreed means
  • Supporting meal planning and cooking, encouraging healthy routines
  • Providing support around the home
  • Working sensitively around daily challenges and structured schedules
  • Role modelling positive behaviours and decision-making
  • Providing mentoring support
About the Individual:
  • Enjoys the outdoors, walking, gym sessions, cinema, and food/cooking
  • Has a busy daily schedule and strong social interests
  • Maintains a close relationship with parents
About You:
  • Have a full UK drivers license & access to your own vehicle
  • Experience supporting individuals with Autism - Required
  • Calm, patient, and able to communicate clearly and evenly
  • Able to take time to explain information in a supportive and structured way
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and GDPR requirements
  • Ability to encourage independence while maintaining appropriate boundaries
