We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic female support workers to join our team in Kidderminster. In this rewarding role, you will provide dedicated 1:1 support to a young girl in her family home who has behavioural needs and childhood-onset epilepsy. You will play a vital role in helping her feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.

During waking night shifts, you will maintain a calm and reassuring environment while monitoring and responding to seizure activity. In the mornings, you will assist with a structured routine to help her feel organised, settled, and ready for the day ahead, using encouragement and positive guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a strong, positive, and trusting relationship through consistent one-to-one support.
  • Support and manage behaviours using calm, therapeutic approaches.
  • Promote emotional wellbeing, confidence, and independence.
  • Remain attentive and responsive throughout the night, providing reassurance and care.
  • Monitor and respond appropriately to seizure activity.
  • Work collaboratively with the family to maintain a supportive and respectful home environment.
Experience and Skills of a Children Support Worker:
  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs.
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to challenging or changing situations.
