Pay: Β£13.66 per hour (weekly or monthly pay available)

Shifts: 24-hour contract (You must be available to work both day and waking night shifts)

Day shifts: Monday-Friday: 7:00am-8:00pm, Saturday-Sunday: 8:00am-8:00pm

Waking night shifts: We are looking for a dedicated female support worker to provide one-to-one care for a young person with complex needs. They have a unique living arrangement, splitting their time between their mum's home in Lancaster and their dad's home on alternate weeks.

  • Delivering personal care, including PEG care, nutrition, hydration, and administering medication
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen levels
  • Supporting the use of CPAP equipment overnight
  • Assisting with daily living tasks and personal care routines
  • Enabling participation in chosen activities and supporting attendance at appointments

Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:

  • A full UK driving licence is essential
  • You must be a compassionate, reliable person who is committed to delivering person-centred care
  • You should be comfortable working a variety of shifts, including days and nights, and able to travel between both family homes
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to enhancing an individual's quality of life are essential qualities for this role
