We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable female Regional Support Worker who is enthusiastic about making a genuine difference in people's lives while working across a range of services and environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, travelling between locations, and working with different individuals, while consistently delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
As a Regional Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support across multiple locations, including Lancaster, Carlisle, and Aspatria. You will work alongside a variety of teams to support both adults and children with complex clinical and support needs. The role offers a great balance of flexibility and variety, combined with the security of a contracted position and a consistent rota.
Your Responsibilities
- Delivering person-centred care across a range of services
- Supporting individuals in supported living and community settings
- Assisting with personal care, communication, medication, and daily living
- Supporting community access and social engagement
- Adapting confidently to new environments, routines, and teams
- Maintaining accurate records and safe, consistent standards of care
Experience & Skills of a Regional Support Worker
- Hold a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Demonstrated experience in working with tracheostomies, PEG feeding, and ventilators
- Strong background supporting individuals with complex clinical needs
- Proven experience within social care, with the confidence to adapt to a wide range of situations
- Willingness and confidence to travel between different services
- Calm, flexible approach with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new routines
- Reliable and adaptable, with a strong work ethic
- Availability to work a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
