Location: Plymouth and surrounding areas

Pay rate: £15.00 per hour plus paid travel expenses 25p per mile

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shifts: Days, Wake Night, Sleep-in shifts

Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence plus own transport (due to nature of the role)

Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for a new challenge? We have an opportunity for you! We are recruiting a Regional Support Worker to provide flexible, person-centred support across a range of services in Plymouth and surroundings.

This is a permanent role with guaranteed hours, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well across different environments, and wants to make a real difference.

You will be trained to support across multiple services, including supported living and complex care in the community.

What you will be doing:

  • Providing high-quality support on a 2:1 or 1:1 basis
  • Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
  • Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
  • Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment

What you will bring:

We are looking for people who already have experience in:

  • Complex Care (tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, catheter care, etc.)
  • Autism
  • Epilepsy
  • Behaviours that may be perceived as challenging
  • Mental Health support

Just as important is your ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and build positive, trusting relationships.
