Pay rate: £12.71
Shift pattern: 24 hours per week, 2 x 12 hour shifts - 8:00am - 20:00pm.
A meaningful role supporting someone to live life to the fullest. We are looking for a female support worker to support a woman in her early 50s who lives with contamination OCD and is rebuilding her confidence and independence. She is warm, funny, intelligent, and enjoys good conversation, a giggle, and companionship throughout the day while also valuing her privacy and quiet time when she needs it.
The ideal support worker will be clean, calm, patient, and compassionate, with a nurturing approach and the ability to respect her routines, preferences, and boundaries.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting with daily shopping
- Helping with opening letters and communicating with services
- Light household tasks such as cleaning, hovering, and putting out rubbish
- Supporting to collect food from shops
- Helping her plan activities, come up with ideas, and build confidence going out
- Respecting her need for privacy and independence
- Following her home routines
- A driver with a full UK licence
