We are looking for a committed and adaptable Regional Support Worker who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives. As a Regional Support Worker, you will provide essential support across a range of settings. Your primary base will be in Lancaster; however, there may be occasions where you will be required to cover shifts in Carlisle and Aspatria to ensure continuity of care. This position offers an excellent balance of flexibility and variety, alongside the stability of a contracted role with a consistent rota, making it ideal for someone seeking both security and diverse working experiences.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Delivering person-centred care across a range of services
  • Supporting individuals in supported living and community settings
  • Assisting with personal care, communication, medication, and daily living

Experience & Skills of a Regional Support Worker:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in working with tracheostomies, PEG feeding, and ventilators
  • Strong background supporting individuals with complex clinical needs
  • Proven experience within social care, with the confidence to adapt to a wide range of situations
  • Willingness and confidence to travel between different services
  • Calm, flexible approach with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new routines
  • Reliable and adaptable, with a strong work ethic
  • Availability to work a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
