Location: Thurcroft, Rotherham

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour & Sleep ins £9.50 per hour

Shift pattern: 30 hours per week

Weekdays: 06:30am - 18:45pm / 20:45pm - 06:30am

Weekends: 07:00am - 18:00pm / 21:00pm - 07:00am

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Support Worker to join our team and provide person-centred care within a family home in Rotherham. You will be supporting an individual with a spinal injury, but their condition is only one part of who they are. They are someone with their own interests, routines and goals, and they also share their home with a friendly dog.

Your role will focus on empowering them to live as independently and fully as possible, offering both essential daily care and support with meaningful, enjoyable activities that enrich their life.

What you will be doing:

  • Providing high-quality support on a 1:1 basis
  • Completing bowel care in line with established routines and training
  • Supporting catheter care safely and confidently as part of daily care needs
  • Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
  • Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
  • Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment

What you will bring:

  • Complex Care experience, including supporting bowel and catheter care
  • No restrictions on your right to work in the UK
  • Previous care experience supporting in a family home
