We are recruiting a Regional Support Worker to provide flexible, person-centred support across a range of services in Plymouth and surroundings. This is a permanent role with guaranteed hours, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well across different environments, and wants to make a real difference.
You’ll be trained to support across multiple services, including supported living and complex care in the community.
What you’ll be doing
As a Support Worker, you’ll play an important role in helping individuals live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:
- Providing high-quality support on a 2:1 or 1:1 basis
- Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
- Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
- Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
- Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for people who already have experience in:
- Complex Care (tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, catheter care, etc.)
- Autism
- Epilepsy
- Behaviours that may be perceived as challenging
- Mental Health support
Just as important is your ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and build positive, trusting relationships.
