Pay rate: £162.50 per day plus £10 per day food allowance.
Shift Pattern: 1 week on and 1 week off.
We’ve got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their home with their pet dog in Edwalton, Nottingham. This person has complex clinical needs, a spinal injury, a brain injury and autonomic dysreflexia. More interestingly they play wheelchair rugby, scuba dive and are relearning to play the saxophone.
To make the most of trips out and about, we need people who are local to Edwalton, Nottingham and know the area, and can drive a car, holding a full UK Driving Licence.
Your Role:
- Provide 1:1 live-in support on a 1 week on and 1 week off rota
- Assist with personal care, health needs, daily routines, and activities
- Support communication and engagement using a variety of accessible methods
- Promote independence and participation in chosen hobbies and activities
- Drive for longer journeys (the individual drives their own adapted car for short distances)
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Shares similar interests such as sports and music
- Has experience or willingness to learn about complex clinical care
- Has previous care experience
- Is a confident driver with a valid licence
- Is respectful, adaptable, and person‑centred in approach
- Is comfortable being around dogs
