The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Pay rate: £14.00 per hour
Shift pattern: Waking Nights only - Night shifts - Sunday - Thursday 9:30pm – 8:30am + Friday and Saturday 22:00pm - 8:00am
We are currently looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join a dedicated care team providing overnight 1:1 support to a young person living with their parents in Lincoln. They are a warm and engaging individual who enjoys sensory play, spending time with their family, and being around their pets, including two large dogs in the home.
The right person will hold a full UK drivers license with access to their own vehicle & be able to work 30 hours per week.
About the Role:
This is a night-time position supporting someone with complex medical needs. They have:
- Partial chromosome deletion
- Tracheobronchomalacia
- Raynaud's disease
They are Level 3 ventilated via tracheostomy, though they now come off ventilation during the day. Support includes:
- Tracheostomy care, including suctioning (approx. 2–3 times per day or more if unwell)
- PEG feeding
- Full personal care, including continence support
- Assistance with positioning and comfort throughout the night
They are a wheelchair user due to low muscle tone.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the care sector is essential
- Experience with complex needs is advantageous but not essential – full training will be provided
- Must be comfortable working in a home with large dogs
- Must have a full UK drivers license & access to your own vehicle.
