We’re seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our friendly team in Filey, supporting people with complex care needs to live independently and with dignity.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred care in home and community settings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with daily routines and community outings
- Encouraging social interaction and emotional wellbeing
- Supporting with personal care while promoting independence
- Ensuring a clean, calm, and safe environment
- Providing tracheostomy and PEG care
- Administering medication and monitoring vital signs
- Communicating clearly and respectfully
- Working collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals
What You’ll Need
- Previous care experience (clinical training provided)
- Compassion, reliability, and excellent communication skills
- Confidence in supporting individuals with complex care needs
- Understanding of behaviours that challenge
- Ability to stay calm, adaptable, and empathetic
- Comfort around pets
