- Saturday & Sunday Day - £17 p/h
- Sleep-Ins - £10.52 p/h
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1 - Wed 0900-2300 & 2300-0930
- Week 2 - Wed 0900-2300 & 2300-0930, Sun 0900-2300 & 2300-0930
The lady loves to be busy! Whether it's dining out, days out especially if animals are involved or arts and crafts. She's ready to do paintings, creating models or colouring. This individual has complex health including paralysis and is a full time wheelchair user. She also has mental health needs and can display challenging behaviours but this does not define them.
Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person's life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:
- Chronic pain conditions
- Paralysis
- Behaviours that can be perceived as challenging
- Mental health
What will your shift involve?
In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 2:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being. Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence. Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.

This role sits within our Team Brain Injury family, and you will be supported by an experienced hands-on Complex Care Manager. We work together in a wide variety of locations to support adults and children with complex care needs, and a range of both physical and mental disabilities. Our teams are passionate about working in close partnership with the people we support to provide outstanding, tailored care that promotes empowerment, and do everything possible to help our clients to access new experiences.
