A meaningful role supporting someone to live life to the fullest. We are looking for caring, reliable and confident Support Workers to join a small team supporting an individual who lives at home with their family in Plymouth. This person has complex clinical needs, communication disorder and relies on a consistent team who truly understand them.

What matters most is supporting someone who is fun, active, and enjoys a structured routine. Their favourite activities include going out; they are a football person who supports Birmingham City, enjoy Formula 1, and watch a lot of TV on their iPad. They stay in bed at times. The family values privacy and prefers to stay away from carers. To help them make the most of outings, we’re looking for people who know the local area and who hold a full UK driving licence.

As a Support Worker, you’ll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:

  • Providing high‑quality support on a 2:1 basis
  • Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
  • Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
  • Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment

This is a role where your presence genuinely makes a difference every day.

We’re looking for people who already have experience in Complex Care. Just as important is your ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and build positive, trusting relationships.
