The predicted salary is between 13 - 14 £ per hour.

Pay rate: £13.65 - £14.19

Shift Pattern: 8am - 4pm or 4pm - 10pm and Sleep

We’ve got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their family home in Great Yarmouth. This person has Learning Disabilities, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy but this does not define them. More interestingly they have a wide range of hobbies. To make the most of trips out and about, we need people who are local to Great Yarmouth and know the area, and can drive a car, holding a full UK Driving Licence.

Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person’s life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:

  • Learning Disabilities
  • Autism
  • Epilepsy
  • PEG Feeding

What will your shift involve? In this role, you will be providing high‑quality care, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well‑being. Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organised living environment that fosters comfort and independence. Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.

This role sits within our LD&A family, and you will be supported by an experienced hands‑on Team Leader. We work together in a wide variety of locations to support adults and children with complex care needs, and a range of both physical and mental disabilities.
