The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 36 hours (3 shifts per week)
Shift Patterns: 7:30 am – 7:30 pm, 7:30 pm – 7:30 am
Paid Travel Expenses: 25p per mile / public transport (bus/train only)
Assessment Day: Must attend Mandatory Assessment Day Gloucester (21st January 2026 9:00 am–17:00 pm)
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential – enjoy trips out & driving the client’s vehicle!)
- Clear Enhanced DBS on DBS update service
- Proven experience supporting individuals with severe challenging behaviour
- Must be resilient, highly confident, and adaptable to change
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible to attend training by 23rd February 2026
- First shift: 2nd March 2026
About the Person:
We’re looking for a highly confident, resilient female support worker to support a lady in her own home in Cheltenham. She lives with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, FND and Gastroparesis, and enjoys visiting local coffee shops, exploring vintage finds, getting creative, and spending time in the garden.
Responsibilities:
- Provide warm, person-centred care and emotional support
- Encourage independence and wellbeing through daily routines and meaningful activities
- Support with personal care, mobility, and health-related tasks
- Promote positive engagement and help manage behaviours that can be challenging
- Keep accurate records and work in line with care plans and CQC standards

- Experience supporting individuals with complex care, challenging behaviour, or mental health needs
- Resilient, highly confident, and adaptable to change
- Understanding of complex care, allergies, and behaviours that may be challenging
