Overview

Support Worker
Pay rate: Β£12.71-Β£12.98 per hour
Shift Pattern: 7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am Mon to Sun

We\’\’ve got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their family home in Coventry. This person has a Brain Injury, Gastrostomy, Tracheostomy but this does not define them. More interestingly they have a great sense of humour and have a wide range of hobbies like going to shops and getting out and about!

Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person’s life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:

  • Brain Injury
  • Medication
  • Personal Care
  • Tracheostomy

What will your shift involve?

In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 1:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being. Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence. Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.

This role sits within our Team Brain Injury family, and you will be supported by an experienced hands-on Complex Care Manager.

We work together in a wide variety of locations to support adults and children with complex care needs, and a range of both physical and mental disabilities. We are person-centred and the needs of the people we support are at the heart of everything we do.Our teams are passionate about working in close partnership with the people we support to provide outstanding, tailored care that promotes empowerment, and do everything possible to help our clients to access new experiences.
