Intensive Support Worker Specialist Mobilisation Team

Location and Compensation

Location: Leeds/Yorkshire (travel required)

Pay: Tier 1 £20.00 per hour + mileage | Tier 2 £22.00 per hour + mileage (enhanced clinical duties)

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (full-time, rolling rota) with overnight stays when required

Role and Objectives

We are launching a brand-new Intensive Support Worker Mobilisation Team, dedicated to setting up and stabilising complex care packages across Yorkshire and beyond. This specialist team will play a vital role in our growth, ensuring safe, high-quality care is delivered from day one, whilst permanent local teams are being established. Between new mobilisations, you’ll also support our existing complex care packages, helping provide consistency and continuity of care.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: At least 5 years UK health and social care experience, including complex clinical care.

Travel: Up to 80 miles (occasionally further), with overnight stays if required.

Core clinical skills (Tier 1) – £20.00 per hour + mileage

  • Bowel & bladder management, catheter care, bladder washouts, manual evacuation
  • Non-invasive respiratory support CPAP, Bi-Pap
  • Basic physiotherapy e.g. passive movements
  • Enteral feeding feeds and medication administration
  • Learning Disability & Autism support, including behaviours of concern

Tier 2 Specialist Skills (£22.00 per hour + mileage)

  • Airway management, tracheostomy care and invasive ventilation
  • Prescribed suctioning (nasopharyngeal/oropharyngeal)
  • Supporting people with complex behaviours

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, high-quality care to individuals with complex health needs
  • Support safe hospital discharges and mobilisation of new care packages
  • Provide clinical support in line with individual care plans
  • Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records while ensuring safety and compliance at all times
