We are supporting a growing UK-based manufacturing business with the appointment of a Finance Analyst to join a small and collaborative finance team during a period of continued growth. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a broad role combining financial analysis, forecasting and reporting with hands-on involvement in operational finance. The successful candidate will play an important role in strengthening financial discipline as the business scales.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Producing regular reporting on revenue, margin and business performance
  • Supporting rolling sales forecasts and quarterly planning
  • Analysing customer and product performance to support margin management
  • Working closely with Sales and Operations to ensure cost movements are understood and reflected in pricing
  • Supporting billing accuracy, accounts receivable processes and credit control
  • Assisting with month-end processes including revenue recognition and project accounting

This role will suit someone who enjoys working across both analytical and operational aspects of finance within a growing SME environment.

Candidate profile:

  • 3-6 years’ finance experience within industry
  • Studying towards ACCA or CIMA (part-qualified or finalist preferred)
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or product-led business advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and collaborating with non-finance teams
