We are representing a privately owned, large-scale operational business seeking to appoint a CFO into a pivotal leadership role. This is a substantial and complex organisation operating across a diverse range of activities. The business has grown considerably and is now seeking an experienced finance leader who can bring greater cohesion across the finance function, improve visibility and decision-making, and support the next stage of profitable growth.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an established Senior Finance Leader ready to step into a broader role, who enjoys operating in fast-paced, operationally led environments and can combine strategic input with strong commercial and financial control.
The Role
Reporting into the senior leadership team, the CFO will take responsibility for strengthening finance across a sizeable and complex business with multiple moving parts. Key areas of focus will include:
- creating a more aligned and effective group finance structure
- improving the quality, consistency and timeliness of reporting and insight
- strengthening financial control, governance and performance visibility
- enhancing cash flow, working capital and balance sheet management
- supporting stronger commercial understanding across operational activity
- driving efficiency, better decision-making and finance-led business improvement
- contributing to strategic planning, growth and broader value creation initiatives
The Profile
