Acuity Associates has been retained by a confidential international SME that designs, manufactures and supplies specification-led products for commercial environments. The business operates across the UK, Australia and the USA and is entering an important phase of growth, systems improvement and international consolidation.

We are looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller to work closely with the CFO and take ownership of group reporting, financial control, audit, cash management, governance and finance operations across multiple entities. This role needs a technically strong, detail-led qualified accountant who can bring structure, accuracy and control, while still operating hands-on in an SME environment.

You will need:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
  • Strong group financial control experience
  • Multi-entity reporting and consolidation exposure
  • Excellent technical accounting, audit and controls experience
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders across finance and operations
  • A hands-on, practical, improvement-focused mindset

Experience in a manufacturing, product, stock-led, design-led or international SME environment would be highly advantageous. ERP implementation or systems improvement experience would also be valuable.

The successful candidate will need to be within a realistic commute of the client’s South East head office, with hybrid working available.
