We are leading a confidential search for a Commercial Operations Director to join a well established, family-run, fast-moving, product-led business in the North West. This is a senior leadership appointment working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to strengthen the commercial and operational capability of the business across a complex, multi-route-to-market environment.
We are looking for a commercially minded operational leader with experience in clothing, accessories, fashion, apparel or closely related consumer products. The strongest candidates are likely to have operated in businesses with:
- Private label, own-brand or product development-led products
- Multi-channel routes to market
- Multi-site or multi-location operations
- B2B and D2C channels
- Wholesale, retail and e-commerce exposure
- Stock flow, fulfilment, sourcing and supplier management
- Fast-moving seasonal product cycles
- SME, family-run, founder-led or entrepreneurial environments
This is not a narrow operations role. It requires someone who can connect sales, product, stock, sourcing, suppliers, fulfilment, customer delivery, people, systems and performance into one joined-up operating model. The successful candidate will need to bring operational grip, commercial judgement and the ability to improve structure, accountability and execution without slowing down the pace of the business.
