Confidential Opportunity – Chief Financial Officer

Privately Owned, High-Performing UK Business | Industrial Services / Equipment

Leamington Spa

We have been retained to support the appointment of a Chief Financial Officer for a profitable, privately owned UK business operating nationally within an industrial services and equipment environment.

The organisation has built a strong commercial platform, with turnover approaching £10m and consistently high margins. It is now entering a new phase of growth and professionalisation, with the potential for a value-realisation event over the medium term.

The CFO will act as a strategic partner to the Managing Director and leadership team, with responsibility for shaping financial strategy, strengthening governance and enabling scale. This role extends beyond finance leadership alone; the successful candidate will play a central role in improving operational predictability, supporting commercial decision-making and preparing the business for future investor or buyer scrutiny.

Key elements of the role include establishing robust financial and performance management frameworks, partnering closely with operational and commercial teams, and helping transition the organisation toward a more process-driven, scalable operating model. The CFO will also contribute to building a compelling, data-led narrative around performance and value creation.

This opportunity will appeal to a commercially minded finance leader with senior experience in SMEs or mid-market businesses, ideally within operationally complex or asset-intensive environments. The successful candidate will combine strategic perspective with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and will be comfortable working closely with owner-managed leadership teams.

The role offers a competitive executive compensation package, including participation in long-term value creation.

All discussions will be handled with the utmost confidentiality. Further details will be shared selectively with candidates progressing through initial conversations.

*All applicants will be required to complete The Acuity Measure assessment to be considered for this role.
