Acuity Analytics is seeking a high-performing Director, Business Development, to drive growth across Corporate & Investment Banks and Commercial Banks, throughout the EMEA region.
Based in London, this is a senior, quota-carrying role responsible for originating, developing, and closing new business opportunities, while building long-term strategic relationships with senior banking executives.
The successful candidate will possess a strong commercial mindset, excellent relationship-building capabilities, and a proven track record of generating revenue within financial services.
We welcome candidates from investment banking, corporate banking, capital markets, financial services sales, financial data and analytics providers, fintech, consulting, or other client-facing roles serving the banking industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles across Corporate and Investment banks, Commercial banks and advisory firms throughout EMEA.
- Business Development & Origination
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within target financial institutions.
- Establish and execute strategic account plans to penetrate new clients and expand existing relationships.
- Leverage personal networks and industry relationships to create a sustainable pipeline of opportunities.
- Develop senior-level relationships across front office, COO, CFO, CRO, CIO, Operations, Transformation, and Procurement functions.
- Solution Selling
- Understand client priorities, challenges, and transformation agendas.
- Develop compelling business cases and value propositions tailored to client needs.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
- Coordinate internal subject matter experts and delivery teams throughout the sales process.

KEY COMPETENCIES
- Qualification & Background
- 7+ years' experience in business development and new client acquisition within Financial Services, with a focus on banking institutions.
- Strong understanding of Run-the-Bank (RTB) and Change-the-Bank (CTB) environments.
- Experience selling consulting, managed services, outsourcing, technology, analytics, KPO, BPO, or ITO solutions.
- Proven track record of originating, developing, and closing complex B2B opportunities within Financial Services.
- Strong network across banks and financial institutions, particularly within EMEA and/or North America.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including Managing Directors, COOs, CFOs, CIOs, CROs, Transformation Leaders, and Procurement executives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated success managing complex enterprise sales cycles in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
