We are seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Architect with a deep technical background in .NET and Azure. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing scalable and high-performance systems while ensuring that our engineering teams are equipped with the best practices and architectural guidelines. While you will provide high-level architectural guidance, we expect our architects to be hands-on and actively contribute to the development process.

In the initial phase of a project, you will take on the responsibility of the lead engineer, building solutions and working alongside the team to implement the architecture you design. Once the project team establishes a good velocity and the architecture stabilises, you will transition out of the project and move on to another project. You can be involved in up to three projects at a time, but the focus will be on one of them.

Skills And Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on .NET development and Azure cloud services.
  • Strong expertise in designing and developing scalable web applications.
  • Familiarity with frontend development practices, ideally using React.
  • Proven experience with Azure cloud architectures and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, ideally in Terraform.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying applications using modern DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and familiarity with automated testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
