We are seeking an experienced Operations Training Manager to oversee the technical and functional training across our eight manufacturing sites in the UK. This pivotal role involves assessing our current training structure, designing a future-fit training framework, and driving alignment and governance across our training programs and providers.
Main Responsibilities- Evaluate current training programs and identify gaps in technical and functional training across all sites.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with our business goals and future state vision.
- Establish clear governance structures and ensure alignment of training provision across all sites.
- Lead the digitalisation of training programs, incorporating modern technologies and methodologies.
- Collaborate with site managers, Operational Excellence, HR, Early Careers team, and other stakeholders to ensure training programs meet operational needs.
- Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organisation.
- Proven experience in a training management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the dairy industry.
- Strong understanding of technical and functional training requirements.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to various sites across the UK as required.
