About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedOperations Managerto lead our Tanker Logistics team in Market Drayton. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the cost-efficient collection and delivery of raw milk while maintaining exceptional service standards. Youll lead a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with all legal and safety standards.
- Location: Market Drayton Depot (TF9 3UY)
- Contract: Full Time/Permanent
- Shift: Monday-Friday (40 hours)
Operations Manager Key Responsibilities;
- Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
- Manage depot operations, including rota planning, staffing, and cost control.
- Deliver against KPIs and OGSM targets.
- Drive customer service excellence for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure legal compliance for drivers and vehicles.
- Conduct performance reviews, training, and disciplinary procedures.
