Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver milk products to customer stores and regional distribution centres, navigating urban routes within the M25 and Greater London.
- Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
- Diligently completes driver and vehicle checks.
- Prepares route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure smooth and efficient journeys.
- Maintains a highly professional demeanor as the interface between the business and customer base.
Key Skills & Experience
- HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
- Current CPC and digital driving card
- No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (no CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
- Minimum 12 months of driving experience
- Comfortable with the physical nature of the role (loading/unloading trolleys)
- Effective team member who works well independently
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
- Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and extreme reliability
Compensation & Benefits
- Day (Mon‑Fri): £16.63 per hour
- Day (Sat): £18.71 per hour
- Day (Sun): £24.95 per hour
- Night (Mon‑Fri, 6.00pm‑4.00am): £19.00 per hour
- Night (Sat): £21.08 per hour
- Night (Sun): £27.32 per hour
- Overtime: £18.71 per hour
- £500 signing‑on bonus after successful completion of 12‑week probation
