We are recruiting for Terberg Shunter Drivers at our Glasgow Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.
- Contract: Full Time / Permanent
- Location: Glasgow Depot (G32 8EY) – yard based
- Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7
- Hourly Rate: £16.63 per hour, plus £20 per week shunter supplement
- Overtime:
- £18.71 per hour
- Saturday: £18.71 per hour
- Sunday: £24.95 per hour
Role & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the onsite bay movements ensuring that all equipment is fully compliant.
- Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
- Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
- Conduct regular checks on all vehicles and trailers to ensure they meet the necessary safety and compliance standards.
- If a vehicle or trailer is not compliant, defect it to the workshop for repairs or maintenance.
- Prioritise, assess, and control safety, health, and workplace risks.
- Identify potential hazards and take preventive measures.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Terberg experience (mandatory)
- HGV Class 1 Licence (mandatory)
- Current CPC and digital driving card (mandatory)
- No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (no CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
- Effective team member who works well on their own initiative
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
- Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
- Comfortable with the physical nature of the role
