We’re recruiting a Business Intelligence Application Analyst for Market Drayton, Telford or East Kilbride. This is a permanent contract.
What You’ll Do
Your Mission as a Business Intelligence Application Analyst:
- Designing, implementing and supporting SAP BI solutions.
- Working across SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and more to ensure our reporting systems are robust, insightful, and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Analysis & Development: Design and implement high-availability SAP BW/SAP Datasphere data models and reports; maintain and monitor SAP BI applications (housekeeping, daily operations); provide functional user support based on SLAs, KPIs, and ticketing systems; contribute to BI strategy aligned with company goals; build strong relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management: Lead full lifecycle BI project implementations or workstreams; ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Business Consulting: Translate business needs into technical solutions; deliver user training and ongoing support; collaborate with internal IT and BPM teams; provide expert guidance to users and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong knowledge of SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Experience with SAP frontend tools (e.g., Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Bonus: Familiarity with Databricks.
- Agile mindset with a pragmatic approach to change.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and adopt new technologies.
- Proven relationship and service level management skills.
