Actus Search are currently supporting a global hedge fund in hiring a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to join their Technology Operations team. This is a high-impact, user-facing role supporting a global trading environment, where reliability, responsiveness, and technical expertise are critical.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing onsite and remote support to a global user base (500+ users) across a Windows environment
- Supporting core technologies including: Microsoft Office / Office 365 / Outlook, Active Directory & Group Policy, Azure, OneDrive, SharePoint, DLP
- Managing incidents and service requests using structured processes and runbooks
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues across desktop environments
- Collaborating with Level 2/3 teams and external vendors on complex issues
- Proactively monitoring systems and resolving alerts before they impact users
- Driving automation and efficiency improvements across support processes
