At Acturis, innovation isn’t just part of our culture — it’s in our DNA. Our journey began in 2000 in the garden shed of our co-founder, Theo Duchen, who together with fellow former McKinsey partner David McDonald set out to reinvent insurance technology. From those start-up beginnings, Acturis has grown into a global SaaS leader transforming the insurance industry. Today, over 100,000 users in 40+ countries rely on our platform to run and grow their businesses. By partnering closely with brokers, insurers and MGAs, we continue to shape modern insurance across both personal and commercial lines. Recognised as a Great Place to Work 2026, Acturis combines the agility and innovation of a start-up with the scale and stability of an industry leader. You’ll join a team where expertise is valued, ideas move fast, and talented people make a real impact from day one. And as an EcoVadis Committed rated organisation, we focus on creating long-term value by operating in a sustainable and responsible way.

Day to day you will:

  • Provide expert People Operations support across the business, partnering with managers on employee relations matters, HR queries, policy guidance and employment law to ensure a consistent and compliant employee experience.
  • Own and continuously improve HR systems, processes and compliance activities, maintaining accurate employee data, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring audit readiness across the People function.
  • Deliver meaningful people data, reporting and insights, producing regular dashboards and analysis to support decision-making, workforce planning, process improvements and wider People initiatives across the UK and internationally.

You can expect:

  • A transparent progression structure, regular feedback, and annual performance reviews.
  • Opportunities to lead cross-functional projects and support the growth of junior team members.
  • Comprehensive onboarding, ongoing development, and access to industry recognised training.

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Have proven HR generalist experience with strong knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations and People Operations, ideally supported by a CIPD Level 5 qualification and experience partnering with managers across a comparable employee population.
  • Possess a data-driven and analytical mindset, with strong HR systems experience, advanced Excel skills and the ability to translate people data into meaningful insights, recommendations and business outcomes.
  • Are an organised and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, builds credibility with stakeholders at all levels, and has experience supporting both UK and international employee populations.
  • Experience within Tech, Fintech, Professional Services, Insurance or Financial Services would be advantageous.
