At Acturis, innovation isn’t just part of our culture - it’s in our DNA. Our journey began in 2000 in the garden shed of our co-founder, Theo Duchen, who together with fellow former McKinsey partner David McDonald set out to reinvent insurance technology. From those start-up beginnings, Acturis has grown into a global SaaS leader transforming the insurance industry. Today, over 100,000 users in 40+ countries rely on our platform to run and grow their businesses. By partnering closely with brokers, insurers, and MGAs, we continue to shape modern insurance across both personal and commercial lines. Recognised as a Great Place to Work 2026, Acturis combines the agility and innovation of a start-up with the scale and stability of an industry leader. You’ll join a team where expertise is valued, ideas move fast, and talented people make a real impact from day one. And as an EcoVadis Committed rated organisation, we focus on creating long term value by operating in a sustainable and responsible way.
Day to day you will:
- Act as a senior escalation point, resolving complex L2 issues across laptops, VDIs, servers, and enterprise platforms in a hybrid environment.
- Support and improve endpoint management, on-prem and cloud-integrated services, using tools including M365, Intune, PowerShell, and Atlassian platforms.
- Deliver complex system and infrastructure changes, contribute to root cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers through technical leadership and documentation.
We offer structured development, clear progression, and genuine ownership - whether that means leading projects, shaping operational improvements, or mentoring others. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where strong performers progress quickly. You can expect:
- A transparent progression structure, regular feedback, and annual performance reviews.
- Opportunities to lead cross functional initiatives, influence tooling and support practices, and support the development of junior team members.
- Comprehensive onboarding, ongoing professional development, and access to training and certification pathways.
You’ll thrive here if you:
- Have proven L2 enterprise IT support experience with strong troubleshooting across Windows Server, networking, VDI, and identity services.
- Are confident working with M365, Intune, PowerShell scripting, and enterprise engineering tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Communicate clearly, document thoroughly, and enjoy raising standards through mentorship and continuous improvement.
