About Acturis
At Acturis, innovation isn’t just part of our culture — it’s in our DNA. Our journey began in 2000 in the garage of our co‑founder, Theo Duchen, who—together with fellow former McKinsey partner David McDonald—set out to reinvent insurance technology. From those start‑up beginnings, Acturis has grown into a global SaaS leader transforming the insurance industry. Today, over 100,000 users in 40+ countries rely on our platform to run and grow their businesses. By partnering closely with brokers, insurers, and MGAs, we continue to shape modern insurance across both personal and commercial lines.
Recognised as a Great Place to Work® 2026, Acturis combines the agility and innovation of a start‑up with the scale and stability of an industry leader. You’ll join a team where expertise is valued, ideas move fast, and talented people make a real impact from day one. And as an EcoVadis Committed‑rated organisation, we focus on creating long‑term value by operating in a sustainable and responsible way.
Day to day you will have responsibility for:
- Engineering Leadership: Lead the day-to-day delivery and evolution of workplace engineering, ensuring end-user devices, virtual desktops, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra and endpoint services are secure, reliable, scalable and deliver an excellent user experience.
- Technical Delivery & Modernisation: Drive the modernisation of workplace technology through automation, standardisation and cloud adoption. Lead improvements across endpoint management, security and compliance, infrastructure and virtual desktop services, including Azure Virtual Desktop, while improving platform resilience and operational efficiency.
- Team & Service Excellence: Lead, develop and mentor workplace engineers and support specialists, setting clear technical standards and operational best practices. Take ownership of service performance across incident, problem and change management, working closely with Architecture, Security and operational teams to resolve underlying issues and continuously improve the workplace experience.
We offer structured development, clear progression, and genuine ownership — whether that means leading projects, shaping strategy, or mentoring others. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where strong performers progress quickly.
You can expect:
- A transparent progression structure, regular feedback, and annual performance reviews.
- Opportunities to lead cross‑functional projects, influence product direction, and support the growth of junior team members.
- Comprehensive onboarding, ongoing professional development, and access to industry‑recognised training.
You’ll thrive here if you have:
- Strong experience leading End User Computing (EUC), Modern Workplace or Workspace Engineering teams, with responsibility for people management, stakeholder engagement and service ownership.
- Deep technical expertise across Microsoft technologies including Intune, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, endpoint management, virtual desktop environments, device lifecycle management and workplace security.
- Experience operating within a regulated environment, with a strong understanding of security, compliance, ITIL processes, change management and large‑scale workplace transformation programmes.
