Are you an experienced data scientist with a Degree, Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field? Do you possess detailed experience of data analytics within Life and Health reinsurance? This is a significant and highly visible opportunity to take the lead within predictive analytics, driving our client's growth across all of its lines of business by utilizing data-model-driven insights to meet the key goals and vision of the firm.
Overall, you will be responsible for developing a data and analytics-driven culture within the firm, identifying potential solutions to support the protection line of business on new propositions across underwriting, claims and distribution. Continually keeping abreast with new technologies, you will also be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing knowledge of the impact of emerging Generative AI as well as data scientist practices, disseminating this within the team in order to continually improve and augment ways of working.
To be successful in the role, you will have deep expertise in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling using tools such as R, Python, SAS, or similar, in a life insurance environment. Experience with the following would be a bonus: Azure components; Databricks; graph analytics; GenAI; Large Language Models; and Knowledge Graphs.
