Pensions Responsibilities

  • Review a variety of actuarial calculations across diverse areas including actuarial valuations, production of company accounting disclosures, bulk transfer, incentive exercises, and de‐risking projects.
  • Provide advice on matters such as contribution rates, levy reduction, and liability reduction exercises based on the results of the above calculations.
  • Draft high‐quality written reports and deliver clear verbal presentations to internal and client stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Part‐qualified or qualified pensions actuary (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong planning skills and highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient IT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, inclusive consultancy environment.
  • Experience with pensions and actuarial projects is preferred.
