Key responsibilities
- Provide challenge, oversight and risk opinions on reserving, product design and pricing, exposure management, business plan, solvency and related areas.
- Oversee stress and scenario testing, driving improvements in these practices, while reviewing and challenging the company's financial risk profile and helping to develop existing Risk Appetite statements and metrics.
- Contribute to risk assessments, including emerging risks and climate change, and contribute to the production of the Own Risk Assessment (ORA) report.
Requirements / qualifications
- With strong financial skills and business awareness, you will have a solid understanding of the UK market and regulatory environment.
- You will also possess strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Risk management experience would be a bonus.
