Are you a qualified investment expert (actuarial/CFA) and Swiss or EU national, looking for your next executive position within a global insurer? This is an exceptional opportunity for you to join our client's offices in Zurich as an investment specialist, responsible for designing and delivering financial products across multiple asset classes such as equities, fixed income, commodities, FX and derivatives.
In this client-facing role, you will:
- Present bespoke product ideas and explain structures in a clear way.
- Conduct risk analyses to assess and manage various risks (market, credit, operational, legal) associated with proposed structures.
- Carry out in-depth market and quantitative analysis to identify new trends, opportunities and effective strategies.
- Take responsibility for product innovation, exploring new asset classes and structuring techniques, responding to evolving regulations and driving innovation in products and strategies.
With extensive, relevant experience in structured finance, derivatives, or product structuring within financial institutions (ideally investment banks), the successful candidate will possess a strong grasp of financial markets and regulatory frameworks affecting product design and execution. You will also be proficient in financial modeling, risk analysis, and quantitative techniques and have programming skills (e.g., Python, C++).
