Star Actuarial is looking for a proven team manager or leader within pensions or financial services who is project and growth oriented. The successful candidate will join the client’s newly created and rapidly expanding Implementation Team and will be responsible for leading the growth and onboarding of defined‑benefit schemes while supporting bulk transfer projects and driving involvement in buy‑ins and buy‑outs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the growth and onboarding of DB schemes.
  • Support bulk transfer projects and drive buy‑ins and buy‑outs.
  • Oversee scheme and member events during implementation, such as valuations and data validation.
  • Ensure accuracy of member and employer data for new schemes and transfers.
  • Identify and implement improvements, lead meetings and drive continuous change.
  • Deliver end‑to‑end projects with excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

  • Part‑qualified (or qualified) pensions actuary experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of successful end‑to‑end project delivery in pensions administration.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
